Booking Terms and Conditions Please Read As this is a binding agreement and explains the booking process in greater detail

Use Schedule A or B for availability. There may be additional availability not visible online. You can also set preference to CJ or Angela during booking if they are available we will accommodate your request. Since we work together our style, approach, equipment, strategies, and experience is nearly identical - leading to a consistent outcome. You may also reach out directly to confirm availability as we may have additional coverage options.

You can book your date with a 50% deposit payment, or payment in full. If you split the payment with the 50% payment option, we will invoice an additional $25 due to additional transactional costs we incur as well as additional time spent invoicing, it is important that the final payment is made by the day of the session, as we do not begin working until all balances have been cleared. We charge less if you pay in full because we don’t like pesky payment reminders to get in the way of our relationship, and we like to get all of that out of the way, so we can focus on what we love to do most; photograph your baby!

If the final payment is not made on the day of your session we automatically invoice an additional $25 every 7 days and delay working on your gallery, and delivering your gallery until the entire balance is cleared. This is not something that we like to do, however to keep things fair between customers that opt into paying in full, we have to honor our agreement, so that editing delays do not begin to take place. We will not waive late payment, or split payment charges as we have an agreement beforehand.

If your balance has not been cleared within 60 days post session, and we have not agreed to an altered payment schedule through writing, we will consider the session abandoned, and the customer forfeits the deposit payment, and we will no longer be able to ensure that we will maintain your unedited images, as we cannot guarantee to retain unedited images for longer than 60 days post session. This is because in order for us to retain the responsibility of ensuring data protection, we go through great measures to ensure extreme redundancy, and abandoned sessions cannot remain an indefinite hosting responsibility. We do not deliver any edited or unedited images if the deposit was forfeited through non payment.

Our pricing is non-negotiable, we are fair to all of our customers. Based on our experience, quality, and overall package we are priced below market and therefore cannot accommodate additional discounts. We understand you will find photographers that are cheaper, and photographers that charge astronomically more, with significantly less. We cannot go below a certain price point as we would not be able to offer the same level of quality if we did so, and therefore we are unwilling to take shortcuts, use subpar equipment, or editing strategies that would result in a lesser product for our customers, in order to ensure profitability at a lower cost. And at the same time just because we can charge more, does not mean that we should be charging you more. We try to balance a premium experience with a reasonable cost.

We do not accept cash payments, but cash tips can be accepted and are certainly appreciated if the customer wishes to do so. We do not carry more than $10 in cash on our person, and our equipment is GPS tracked. GPS tracking cannot be removed by the photographer, regardless of threat level as it is integrated internally and beyond their control.

If ever in doubt regarding any potential travel charges, please reach out through our contact form and we can confirm prior to booking. We do not offer refunds for our services as we incur transactional costs and in the interim we turn away business, both online and over the phone.

Scheduling and Cancelation Policy:

Weekend Sessions will have a larger cost, as we maintain weekends for emergency birth sessions, and other events such as weddings. At times we have weekend availability for an additional cost.

Schedule your session 5 to 9 days post anticipated due date. If the baby comes early you will still be within the 1 to 2 week window that is ideal. If your baby came earlier than 2 weeks please reach out so we can attempt to schedule you sooner if feasible and if it remains in the best interest of baby health.

If the baby comes later than the due date and past your session time, we can simply reschedule to another available time. It is important that you keep us updated, if you simply miss your appointment time, we will not provide you with a courtesy session date change, as we already traveled and or made travel plans and scheduled around your session date and time. If that takes place you will need to rebook our services a second time online, and have cleared the entire balances from the original session date prior to rebooking a second time. This has never taken place, however we are scheduling around your anticipated session date, so simply missing the session will result in additional costs versus communicating that the baby will not be born by the session date, or that the baby may not be born by the session date, it is important so we can accommodate the date change.

We can work with you, our goal is to photograph your baby, and to provide you with an amazing experience. If you keep us updated prior to your session date, we will not charge you to reschedule your session to another available time period. We usually maintain availability as we do not book 100% of our available time to allow for these instances.

Most customers maintain the original booking date. This is because if the baby came early, their physical age is the same at the due date, regardless of the altered birth date. It also gives premature babies further time to strengthen, and a little more time to develop distinct features. If the baby comes late, it is usually not later than 1 to 2 weeks, and even if the baby is only a few days old according to the new birth date, at the session time, the baby can be photographed without concern.

If your baby is no longer a newborn, and is several weeks old, we can still photograph them even if they are older, please reach out if in doubt.

When the baby is born, reach out so we can be aware of any changes we need to make, or if the baby is not delivered on the due date, as it may make more sense to reschedule, we can help you determine the best date to photograph them.

If you simply cancel your session, regardless of the reason, you forfeit the 50% deposit payment. If you miss the session you forfeit the entire session cost. Because our work is artistic, we do not offer refunds or provide further editing, as we designate a significant amount of time to edit images for our customers. While this has never been requested, we do feel the need to clarify our policy on additional editing. If the edits you request are very minor and only take a minute or two on just an image or two, just reach out directly.

Because we have two experienced newborn photographers (CJ and Angela) it is highly unlikely that we would need to cancel or reschedule your session date or time ( this has never taken place) as we have built in coverage. We also avoid booking two newborn sessions at the same time to allow for this additional coverage. In the event that this takes place, and we need to cancel or reschedule, we will offer you a full refund if you are not pleased with the rescheduled time availability. This would be due to an extreme emergency, or for baby safety reasons arose due to dual photographer illness. We would notify you days before the session date if this could be a possibility. We use hand sanitizer prior to entering your home in our vehicles, and we usually opt into washing our hands a second time within your home, even if we don’t intend on touching the baby. You can always ask us to wash our hands too, we won’t be offended! We usually ask parents to move the baby around on the photography pillows so that we avoid touching the baby, as some parents do not wish to have the baby handled. This is not a problem for us. If you wish for us to wear a face mask we can do so if the customer provides the face mask.

Photography Start Time: We make every attempt to begin the session time exactly at the appointment time, and nearly all sessions begin at that exact time, however because of uncontrollable traffic and travel variances, the customer is agreeing to a session start time up to 30 minutes prior to the selected time, and 30 minutes past the selected time. We end promptly because we have built in additional grace time into our largest package.

Image Delivery Time Frame: Because of the tremendous amount of work that takes place post session, we need roughly 30 to 45 days to finish your gallery. Most sessions are delivered at or around the 25 to 33 day mark. If we don’t deliver exactly on day 33 just know we did not forget about you, we are working hard on delivering the gallery. We cannot offer any sneak peeks because all images need to be edited in order to be delivered. And we cannot rush gallery delivery. We offer paid expedited services for unique customer needs, as there can be a few niche requirements where delivery has to take place sooner than the usual 25 to 30 day period.

Know that the reason your gallery is taking so long, is because we are doing our best, and we do not believe in shortcuts as these images are intended for lasting memories.

Parking: If you live in a metropolitan, or large city, such as, but not limited to Philadelphia or NYC, and there is no available street parking at the time of our session, we may need to use paid parking services in order to keep our appointment time. If we need to do so, we will invoice for parking charges if it is greater than $5, and can provide a copy of the receipt. This is because we cannot seek street parking for 15 minutes or more, or park a significant distance away as we carry photography equipment to your home, and it may require several trips. If this is a potential concern you can always reach out to clarify your individual session needs.

Image Delivery Method: We deliver our images through a shareable online gallery, and our images can be printed with third party vendors. We cannot guarantee the quality of said prints as there is a wide range of print lab capability and quality in the industry, and we’ve seen both high quality and very poor quality prints done with outside vendors. The customer needs to download the gallery within 14 days of gallery release, as we cannot guarantee hosting beyond that point in time.

There are travel calculators you can use, located below the packages to determine travel fees. Keep in mind that any travel fees are calculated post booking and invoiced separately. If you have not already determined potential travel charges, please double check the travel calculator on this page with your exact location address for any travel charges. If the values do not appear to be reasonable, please reach out for a custom quote on our contact page. We reserve the right to cancel bookings that due to system errors have resulted in a double booking, or occurred with services that at the time of booking are no longer available. This has never taken place, but if it does occur, we would provide you with a full refund.

Returning Customers may receive a discount on future sessions depending on the package being booked, so please reach out directly if you are booking an additional session with us. We love returning customers as our goal is to build a relationship with you for years to come.
