We know that 1.5 Hours sounds like a lot, but once you factor in walking between locations, setting up cameras and lighting, posing, we find that for untimed photography sessions most customers need 1.5 to 2 Hours, and both customer and photographers walk away feeling as though we had time for all he images we wanted to take.
45 Minutes is just enough time to capture a handful of images, but if there are a few people that need to be photographed, children, pets, or you wanted a little more variety, we recommend booking additional time so that we can make the most from your session.
-
Because of time constraints, and time involved in hand editing every image, we can only offer 7 of the best images from your session. We choose the images during the post processing of your session. Most images are duplicates with slight variations.
During your shoot we can show you a preview of what your images will look like so you have a preview, but you will not be able to select which images as images are not reflective of their final state prior to editing.
-
We deliver the images within 30 business days. (usually 2 weeks)
Customers can upgrade to even faster delivery times during booking for niche business needs, with delivery times of 24 to 48 hours, or even faster for niche needs.

No Travel Charges within 100 miles from this point.
You can view a travel calculator on this page below our packages.
Calculating travel charges are easy,
We use the shortest distance provided by Google Maps.
We look at the one way from Taylor’s Childhood Home to the location of the In Home Photoshoot.
We take that number, let’s say its 110 miles, and we subtract 100 from it.
We charge $5 per additional mile.
You are invoiced a separate travel charge. In our example it would be an additional $50. We do this to help cover the cost of travel, tolls, and extra time spent on the road for the entirety of the drive.
If the value comes back preposterous, just reach out here, and we’ll give you a custom quote. For example if you’re in Miami Florida this comes out to $5,000+. If you want to consider it a tip we won’t say no!

We know that 1 Hour sounds like a lot, but once you factor in walking between locations, setting up cameras and lighting, posing, if you caught a little traffic, getting the little ones out of the car, we find that most customers need 1.5 hours, with both customer and photographer walking away feeling as though we had time for all he images we wanted to take.
1.5 Hours is just enough time to capture the estimated images, but if there are many people that need to be photographed, children, pets, or you wanted a little more variety, we recommend not being limited by time or image count.
Additional time allows us to make the most from your session and increase your image count so that you have the option of printing magazines or photo albums , whether through us or outside vendors.
-
Because of time constraints, and time involved in hand editing every image, we can only offer 20 to 30 of the best images from your session. We choose the images during the post processing of your session. Most images are duplicates with slight variations.
During your shoot we can show you a preview of what your images will look like so you have a preview, but you will not be able to select which images as images are not reflective of their final state prior to editing.

Tips for Portrait Photoshoots
How To
Prepare for Your
Professional Portrait Photoshoot:
What You Need to Know
Whether it's for a headshot, LinkedIn profile, or personal branding purposes, capturing a professional image is essential. To help you make the most of your upcoming photoshoot, we've prepared a guide on what to know and do in preparation, along with some pitfalls to avoid.
Know Your Goals
Before diving into the preparations, it's crucial to clearly define your goals for the photoshoot. Are you aiming for a traditional and formal look, a more casual and approachable vibe, or something artistic and unique? Understanding your desired outcome will enable your photographer to align their vision with yours. It is important to have a brief phone or video call with your photographer so that you can be sure that they are a right fit, and also for them to give you insight into what you were hoping to achieve.
Finding the Right Photographer
Choosing the right photographer can make a world of difference in the final result. Take your time to research and find professionals who have experience in portrait photography and a style that resonates with you. Look through their portfolios, read reviews and ask for recommendations from friends or colleagues who have had successful shoots. You can also reach out and discuss more samples if you had a specific look in mind but they are not showcasing said images in their portfolio.
Preparing Yourself
Now that you have the photographer sorted, let's focus on the most important factor: you! Here are a few things to consider in preparation for your photoshoot:
1. Outfit Selection: Choose clothing that aligns with your goals and target audience. Solid colors and timeless styles are often a safe bet. Avoid elaborate patterns, logos, or anything too distracting, as the focus should be on you. If you have a cuddly pet be sure to bring a lint roller, and be certain to iron any creases as photoshop may take away from an image’s authenticity as it goes through post production.
2. Hair and Makeup: Unless you're going for a specific natural or minimalistic look, consider hiring a professional hair and makeup artist. They have the expertise to enhance your features, ensuring you look and feel your best during the shoot. You may want to do a little research on makeup types, as some may have undesired effects as it interacts with any flash lighting by reflecting light back. If ever in doubt speak with your photographer prior to your photoshoot.
3. Get a Good Night's Sleep: A well-rested face looks radiant on camera. Ensure you get enough sleep the night before to avoid tired or puffy eyes.
Pitfalls to Avoid
While preparing for your professional portrait photoshoot, steer clear of these common pitfalls:
1. Procrastination: Leaving everything until the last minute can leave you feeling rushed and unprepared. Start planning and organizing well in advance to avoid unnecessary stress. Plan on arriving early, so that you don’t lose photography time to traffic, and plan make it that you have time to pickup any props like balloons the day before so that it’s one less thing to have to do the day of your photoshoot.
2. Overthinking Poses: Trying to perfect every pose can make you appear stiff and unnatural in your photos. It’s better to just be yourself and not worry about what you look like. Instead, trust your photographer's guidance and focus on being comfortable and relaxed. You can save some images of poses you like on your phone and your photographer can help you recreate the looks that are flattering or guide you towards your overarching purpose.
3. Forgetting to Hydrate: Well-hydrated skin looks more vibrant and healthy. Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to the shoot, and avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine, which can dehydrate you.
4. Ignoring Communication: Keep an open line of communication with your photographer. Discuss your goals, preferences, and any specific ideas you might have. This ensures both parties are on the same page and helps create a successful collaboration.
Final Thoughts
A professional portrait photoshoot is an investment in your personal image and can have a significant impact on your professional endeavors. By knowing your goals, finding the right photographer, and preparing yourself properly, you're setting the stage for a successful session. With some careful planning and attention to detail, you'll have a set of stunning portraits that capture your best self and leave a lasting impression.
